In the end, no review of this game will change the mind of an individual in buying the game. It is MGS, and it is going to be great, especially for those that know and love the series.
Numbers and letter grades suck. This is the type of review that makes me want to play the game even more and makes me feel the author is a real adult playing the game with an objective sense of critical review. Thank goodness for mature reviews.
They modeled Bond really well and wit the time left, they should be able to throw on some polish to finish it off looking even better. If they can redeam the Bond games like they have with the movies, then this will be a purchase for me.
I was under the impression that even NG Black was capable of upsampling to 720p and that in it's rebirth on the PS3 it was capable of 1080p despite its native resolution being 720p. Now we have the new NGII and it is sub HD? What the heck? I thought this was the HD gen Microsoft? Didn't they get the memo?

What I cannot understand is that it is an offering to us by Sony for no fee. It is free to us with optional micro-transactions and with its potential, it still amazes me that there are fanboys out there that would dog on it. It's not going to look great but it should play great. I'm sure it will do well but it doesn't look like something I will get into. MMO's are like crack for me and I try to avoid them at all cost. Just to addictive.
I hate rushed games and games that feel unfinished. I will wait for a long time and not break a sweat to play a great game but I absolutely hate games that are released unfinished.
